Okay... *sigh* So the six that are left are all doing alright, some better than others. I'll go in order of events...
1) Thursday night was the first night that we had to give them all their medication (pain killer and antibiotic). My mom and I were both running on fatigue and emotion and our brain function was definitely not 100%.
So we read the box on the pain killer medication and on the top line it .5 mL. So, we got that into the syringe and we both kind of looked at it and our instincts told us that it was wrong. It looked like way too much for a little bunny. But we double checked the bottle and decided to just give it. After giving two rabbits .5 mL of pain killer my mom saw that on the line under it... it said , on the side of the bottle, 'give .05 mL'. To make it short, we felt terrible and mortified.
My dad drove me and the two bunnies back to the vet clinic an hour away and they had to do subque (sp?) fluids to prevent all the obsorbtion. They also had to teach me, because I had to do it at home.
*subque fluids is inserting a needle under the top layer of skin between their shoulder blades and squeezing , for rabbits, about 20 mL of a saline solution.
(this is going to be longer than I thought *takes deep breathe*)
So they get their fluids. We take them home and the next day (friday evening) I do the fluids for one. But the other little rabbit was feisty and had less skin so I found it a bit tricky.
So we took them into the local vet this afternoon (saturday) to get it done again and make sure I was doing it right. Turns out I was, and the vet even had difficulty with the feisty one too. We eventually got 15 mL into her though.
2) While we were at the vet (we brought all the rabbits to be checked out) the vet took a look at one of the bunnies with some of the worst gashes. She found an open pocket where you could just pull the skin off the flesh and could probably fit a finger in there. For the most part it looked clean yet, but she was afraid of infection.
So now, to add to my home amateur veterenary practices I get to flush that out a couple times a day with a disinfectant.

It's not difficult, it's just all this time consuming care.
Oh! And to keep him from licking it and making it worse.....he has a cone! Yes! A little purple makeshift cone around his head! He is the most adorable and hilarious thing to watch.
3) So while we were looking at the cone-headed rabbit. I noticed one of the little ones in the carrier was dozed off, but every so often..she'd jump. It was kind of like when you fall asleep and then all of a sudden wake up so quickly you jump.
Only she didn't wake up after spazing. She'd jump, lay there, jump more and then, as we were all watching, she kind of got up...her eyes were glazed and half shut...she swaggered around and then suddenly dropped on her back. My heart just about stopped! I rushed over to pick her up and she got right up again and was looking around as if nothing happend.
The vet said it was probably a siezure and she checked her heart, it sounded fine. We came to the conclusion that this poor little one has post-traumatic-stress and that when she sleeps she has nightmares. I'm going to be giving her so much love...
That's all that has happened in the last 2 1/2 days. I've been taking some videos of medicine time and all that jazz, so hopefully you will all get to see some of this soon. Other than all that they are doing fine. They're eating and drinking and playing and just being bunnies.
I want to thank you all for your sympathy and your input on this situation. I will post again as soon as we get a hold of the cop and get a hold of the owners of the dog.
